Questions we get asked

The things people want to know before they write to us.

Who are Mono y Musa?

Mono y Musa is Sarah and Logan, a two person photography and video studio based in Asturias, in northern Spain. We shoot lifestyle and travel, community and events, products and real estate, and short form vertical video for social media.

What do you charge?

We work mainly by trade. Instead of a fee we take lodging, experiences and products of equivalent value. A typical exchange is a few nights of accommodation, or the use of a vehicle, in return for a day of shooting, an edited photography set and a set of vertical videos.

What is included in a shoot?

One day on location, an edited high resolution photography set that is colour graded and delivered within two weeks, and short form vertical videos cut from the same shoot for Instagram and TikTok. Everything is licensed for you to use anywhere.

Where do you travel?

We are based in Asturias and travel across Spain, Iceland and the rest of Europe. Travel is part of what we trade for, so a stay somewhere new is often the reason for the shoot.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Campervan and vehicle rental companies, hotels, guesthouses and retreats, music venues and festivals, product brands, estate agents and tour operators.
